NSW Licensee Training

Are you a licensee, approved manager or club secretary in NSW and need mandatory Licensee Training?

As our course is delivered face-to-face, you can get it done in a day.

Our licensee training covers all this:

• Liquor legislation and regulations
• NSW liquor license responsibilities
• Your responsibilities to manage alcohol related harms in your business.
• Best practice strategies to improve your business operations
• Consequences of non-compliance.

The course is mandatory for:

• Current licensees, approved managers, and club secretaries applying for a new liquor license, or transferring of an existing license to another person or premise.
• Existing licensees and approved managers will need to complete the new licensee training in alignment to the renewal of their existing NSW competency card.

This extends to pubs, clubs, hotels, bottle shops, restaurants and cafes.

Note: NSW liquor licensee training is delivered in English and the assessment must be completed by the participant in English.

Introduction
Session 1: Overview of liquor regulation in NSW
Session 2: Managing your liquor licence
Session 3: Your responsibilities to manage alcohol related harms
Session 4: Best practice strategies to prevent alcohol related harms
Session 5: Compliance and enforcement
Finalise assessments and next steps

Course is run over 7 consecutive hours and the maximum number of participants per class is 20. Licensee training consists of a range of activities, in class discussion and participation and at the end of your course you will be required to complete a short theory assessment comprised of short written answers and multiple choice.
